Painting In Partnership Wins
TOP JOB Award for Second Consecutive Year

Painting In Partnership, Inc. (PIP) of Palatine, Illinois has just won First Place in the prestigious 2008 TOP JOB Awards, sponsored by the American Painting Contractor magazine.  The project is featured in the March-April issue of the magazine. 

The winning entry was called “The Lyon Project,” a treasured Craftsman style house located in Arlington Heights.  The project not only called for a 5-color repaint, but also involved the development of an entirely new color scheme and design concept. 

The Lyon’s, owners of the award-winning home, had this to say about their experience: “Once the house was finished, we have seen cars stop in the middle of the street to take pictures. Several neighbors, who also have Craftsman style homes, have thanked us for bringing the house to life. Others have expressed their appreciation for keeping the color scheme true to the period.  Painting In Partnership encouraged us to stretch with some bold choices and we trusted their experience, and now have a ‘masterpiece’.”

This is the seventh national award earned by the company in the last 3 years.  PIP’s President Mario Guertin remarked: “Winning the TOP JOB Award is a testimony to the partnership we establish between our clients, employees and suppliers.  It allows us to achieve extraordinary results for our clients and the communities in which they live.”  Last year, PIP was the Grand Prize winner of the TOP JOB Awards.

American Painting Contractor magazine, was first published in 1923.  This is the eleventh year that the magazine has presented the TOP JOB Awards by sending invitations to 25,000 contractor/readers to participate under four categories: residential, commercial/industrial, decorative painting and paperhanging.  Karen Gaspers, Editor of American Painting Contractor magazine had this to say:  “Painting In Partnership went the extra mile to help its client visualize the finished project.  It is that kind of dedication that won the company a place again in the 2008 TOP JOB Awards.”
